Next generation LIBERO Cx multi-use loggers are Bluetooth® enabled

The powerful LIBERO Cx family is extended by three new models: LIBERO CE, LIBERO CH and LIBERO CL. The new LIBERO Cx multi-use devices monitor temperature ranges between -200 °C to +400 °C and optional also humidity ranges. The extended LIBERO Cx family will gradually replace the LIBERO Tx serie, and covers countless applications including: transport monitoring (CRT, +2 °C to +8 °C, dry ice and cryogenic), room and equipment monitoring of pharmacies, laboratory equipment monitoring (freezers, refrigerators, CO2 incubators and stability chambers), and warehouse monitoring.

New flexibility, thanks to the Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) interface and ELPRO app, provides users with the ability to connect to the LIBERO from a smartphone. BLE technology saves time and effort during the distribution process in the cold chain and daily temperature checks in the lab or pharmacy. With the new smartphone app, customers will check the LIBERO status via Bluetooth® connection, perform operations like start and stop, read-out the measurement data and create and send PDF temperature reports, without having to remove the logger from equipment or consignment. The app is available to download for free on iOS and Android.

The new data loggers LIBERO CE, LIBERO CH and LIBERO CL are configurable multi-use devices with a battery life of up to three years. The expanded memory capacity of 75,500 temperature values provides confidence that data is always captured in the event of longer shipment or application durations.

A convenient “pause alarm” feature allows users to temporarily turn off the alarming e.g. during cryogenic tank re-charging with liquid nitrogen, or re-stocking refrigerators with medicine, while still maintaining full traceability.

In addition, flexible alarm configurations allow quick and simple assessments based on unique user requirements. For example, the device features multi-level stability budgets with up to eight temperature alarm zones.

To guard against “false stops” or mishandling errors in transit, LIBERO Cx will always collect data points in the background, which can be analyzed during a quality assessment.

• The multi-use LIBERO Cx family is exempt from Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) declaration thanks to a button cell battery
• FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant PDF report

Easy Reporting and Analytics

The new LIBERO CE, LIBERO CH and LIBERO CL are fully compatible with ELPRO’s LIBERO Cloud software, providing users with global access to the compliant data archive, the reporting and analytics. Calibration certificates for the LIBERO Cx can be accessed 24/7 through the compliance.elpro.com website. The LIBERO CE, LIBERO CH and LIBERO CL data loggers will replace ELPRO’s current LIBERO Te1-P, Te1-PY, Te1-PS, Te1-N, Te1-NY, Te1-U, Ti1, Ti1-L, Ti1-S, THiY-1, and THiY data logger models as announced in early September of 2020.
