Are the new sensors calibrated? Where can I get my calibration certificate?

  • Yes, each sensor delivered is calibrated by ELPRO during the production process. The calibration certificate can be downloaded on the certificate server http://compliance.elpro.com/ by entering the sensor ID.
  • Find a sample certificate here:

ProductionCalibrationCertificate

Does the system remind me of recalibration?

No, this feature has been deactivated with elproCLOUD 2.7.0

Please take note of the date on your (re-)calibration certificate. It serves as a reliable reference to determine when recalibration is necessary according to your specific requirements.

How can sensor recalibration be condutected?

For a recalibration of the ECOLOG-PRO Radio or ECOLOG-PRO xG devices, you have three options:

    1. Sensor Replacement: Easily replace the sensor with a new one featuring a freshly issued calibration certificate. The system seamlessly supports this replacement process to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of your measurement series. You can conveniently order replacement sensors online at shop.elpro.cloud.
    2. Off-Site Calibration by ELPRO: Connect with ELPRO to arrange an Off-Site calibration, conducted by one of our GxP experts. For further details about the calibration process, please refer to our comprehensive information available here.
    3. On-Site Calibration by ELPRO: Connect with ELPRO to arrange an On-Site calibration, conducted by one of our GxP experts. For further details about the calibration process, please refer to our comprehensive information available here.

The On-Site Calibration Mode does not allow for self-calibration. Instead, this feature provides authenticated GxP technicians with the ability to initiate a mode with shortened logging intervals and temporarly deactivate alarms in case of deviations. It is important to note that calibration requires additional reference devices and professional evaluation. This can only be performed by authenticated GxP technicians.

How can I replace an ECOLOG-PRO sensor?

Instructions for replacing an ECOLOG-PRO sensor (see detailed description here):

ℹ️ Steps 5 => 9 only apply for replacing ECLOG-PRO Radio modules

  1. Open your cloud.
  2. Select the sensor you want to replace with a new calibrated sensor.
  3. In the dashboard, click on the menu icon in the top right corner of the sensor's tile and select the "REPLACE SENSOR" tab from the menu.
  4. Enter the ID of the new sensor module into the field and click "Replace Sensor".
This way you will not lose any data and the new sensor will automatically take over the configuration of the previous sensor.
  5. Now please pair the new sensor with your RBR, just as you did during the initial installation.
  6. In order to do this, open the screw cap of the sensor module and insert the two batteries.
  7. Bring the sensor module close (approx. 10 cm) to your ECOLOG-PRO RBR.
  8. Press the "Connect" button inside the sensor module for more than 3 seconds.
Thereupon the two LEDs on the left will start flashing - one in red and one in green. As soon as only the LED in the middle flashes green together with the right LED Data every 10 seconds, the module is successfully connected. In addition, it also indicates in the ELPRO Cloud that the module is successfully connected.
  9. Now close the screw cap of the sensor module and position the sensor in its intended place.
  10. You can now send the expired sensor with informal notice of its origin to our local office, if desired.

Is recalibration of the sensors after one year necessary?

  • Technically, the sensors do not need to be recalibrated since drift is minimal. However regulatory guidelines and the customer’s own quality system typically define a yearly re-calibration of each sensor.
  • Find more information and guidance on this topic here: Calibration.

Can I perform the calibration myself?

A calibration may only be carried out by ELPRO or by authorized specialists or service providers.
