Here's where you can get the hardware at lowest cost!
ELPRO strives to offer the hardware needed for the elproCLOUD solution at low cost with all inclusive pricing and logistics. Please refer to the webshop to get the latest offers for hardware components (starter kits, additional sensors, and replacement sensors with fresh calibration). In some special hardware offers, we include a coupon to cover for the license cost or any other additional software fee.
How does the licensing model of the elproCLOUD software work for ECOLOG-PRO sensors?
- The licensing model of the elproCLOUD software is based on the number of sensors and the duration. Each sensor requires a separate license, which is valid for one year.
- Included in the standard license are:
- Access to sensor from anywhere via web-browser
- Logging Interval of 10 minutes (or higher) for ECOLOG-PRO 1TGi, 1TGe, 1NTR, 2PTR, 1THR
- Logging Interval of 15 minutes (or higher) for ECOLOG-PRO 1TGHi
- Standard Dashboard
- Sensor Analysis
- Deviation Reporting
- Configuration of Alarm levels and Sensor warning
- Messaging via Email
- Basic User Management (more about this here)
ECOLOG-PRO 2PTR / 1THR and 1THGi / 1TGe contain two sensors and require two licenses.
There are additional fees for special configurations (shorter measurement intervals) or extra services (SMS notification, sensor retirement). At the moment, the following add-ons are available:
Please note, data loggers providing two measurement channels require always two licenses (one for each channel), even if not desired for the second channel.
How do I know how much I pay in the end?
Whenever you add an extra option with cost to any of your sensor configurations, you see it immediately in the elproCLOUD software. If you want to get an overview on how much you pay in total, you can always get an overview under “Settings/Licenses”.
How do I pay for the license fees?
You can choose between a debit by credit card or using vouchers.
Credit Card
When you register your account and/or your sensors in elproCLOUD, you will be asked to enter your credit card details. Whenever a license fee is due (registration of a new sensor, an additional option or renewal of an annual license), an invoice will be generated and the amount will be charged to your credit card. You can access the invoice online at any time (under Settings) and manage your settings.
Vouchers
You can obtain vouchers at any time and activate them on your elproCLOUD account.
You can find instructions on how to activate vouchers here.
You have the option of purchasing the vouchers individually or one with a higher amount, with the minimum amount being CHF 300.
Please contact swiss@elpro.com if you have any questions.
How can I renew my yearly license?
You have the choice between automatic and manual renewal of the license for each sensor.
Please note that automatic renewal is only possible by depositing a credit card.
Can I have several sensors with varying license periods?
The license is tied to each single sensor and can be changed or renewed individually. Even if you let one sensor expire, this has no impact on your other sensors.
What happens to my data if the license is not renewed?
If a yearly license for one sensor is not renewed manually or automatically, the systems issues a reminder email two weeks prior to the expiry date of the license. After the license has expired:
-
From the first day after the license expires, the readings of this sensor (e.g. in the dashboard or in the sensor analysis) will be blurred out and the alert will be disabled. However, the recording will continue.
-
The first two months after the expiry of the license, measurement values are still harvested - however the alarming is deactivated. During those two months you can at all times renew your license and you don’t lose data.
- 2 months after the expiry of the license, the specific sensor will stop measuring data. The old data is still available in the system for another 4 months.
- After 2+4 months, the sensor will be deleted (no historic data available).
Two weeks before each phase, the system will issue a reminder email.
