We are pleased to inform our customers and partners that Steven Turner, previously global laboratory manager at ELPRO, is taking over global responsibility for ELPRO's global quality department with immediate effect. He succeeds Björn Niggemann, previously chief quality officer and member of the executive management team, who is leaving the company by mutual agreement. Steven Turner will report directly to the CEO of the ELPRO Group. With his extensive experience, he will make a significant contribution to further expanding and securing the high quality standards at ELPRO.
The board of directors and the executive management team would like to thank Björn Niggemann for his excellent cooperation and his great commitment, particularly in setting up and developing our global quality assurance system.
In order to ensure continuity and the high quality standards that our customers have come to expect from us, we have found an ideal internal successor in Steven Turner, previously global laboratory manager at ELPRO. With immediate effect, he will take over responsibility for the global quality department and its quality issues and will report directly to the CEO of the ELPRO Group in this role.
We are convinced that Steven Turner, with his extensive knowledge in the areas of quality and laboratory, will make a valuable contribution to ensuring and further developing our quality standards. Steven Turner graduated with a Bachelor of Science with honors in physics and a Research Masters (MPhil) in materials physics from Aberystwyth University, Wales. He joined ELPRO in 2020 as global laboratory manager in Buchs and is responsible for ISO 17025 accreditation and laboratory processes in all our offices. He has extensive experience in materials physics, engineering and pharmaceutical validation and previously held a senior position at ELPRO UK from 2017 to 2018.
I am delighted to take over responsibility for the global quality department at ELPRO. My priority will be to further ensure and continuously improve our high quality standards.
