Frederik Dresen is the new CEO of the ELPRO Group

We are pleased to inform our customers and partners that Frederik Dresen has taken over the position of CEO of ELPRO-BUCHS AG (and the ELPRO Group) as of October 14, 2024.

Frederik Dresen succeeds Josef Schmid, who is leaving ELPRO at his own request after more than ten years. During this time, Josef Schmid has made a decisive contribution to the company's success as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and most recently as CEO of the ELPRO Group. As part of the ELPRO management team, he has overseen the successful integration into the Bosch Group in recent years and played a key role in advancing ELPRO's strategic orientation as a solution provider of intelligent monitoring systems for environmental conditions along the entire pharmaceutical supply chain.

Under the leadership of Frederik Dresen, the strategy will be continued with a special focus on the needs of our customers and the further development of our products. The aim is to continue to strengthen and expand ELPRO as a reliable partner with high-quality monitoring solutions for environmental conditions and systems for the stability budget management of pharmaceutical products.

We are delighted to have gained Frederik Dresen, an internationally experienced, market- and customer-oriented expert, who will drive the further development of ELPRO with its technically leading solutions.

Frederik Dresen gained extensive experience in various companies within the Bosch Group in Germany, the Netherlands, China, the USA and Switzerland before becoming CEO of Abraxos Holding AG five years ago. In his role as CEO, Frederik Dresen will also assume responsibility for the business unit Monitoring Services and for the Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Monitoring Services product area within Bosch Service Solutions, to which ELPRO has belonged since 2022.

I am looking forward to my new role and to shaping the future together with our dedicated teams worldwide. My goal is to develop innovative solutions that shape the market and make our customers' work easier and safer. Continuous improvement – both in ourselves and in what we do – is crucial for me.
